Bet you thought you were done with me for the day? Eh No cause it's definitely time to talk about saving moolah. Because in case you didn't notice I want one of the slaughter-bound ponies to love on so I'm currently saving like a squirrel prepping for winter. Every quarter counts.
Onward into our savings goals,
Another way the Biffle and I are continuing on
our savings kick, is our personal "keep the change" plan.
We keep all of our change and put it in our mason jar
whenever we empty our pockets.
It sounds a little trivial but the money is adding
up steadily. We are calling it our "vacation fund"
and we have almost $50 saved in it. I believe we've
only been using it for about a month,and it is
pretty rewarding to watch the
savings fill the jar!

My mom and I did that to fund my senior spring break in HS and we saved over 300 in a year! It's amazing how much it adds up!
ReplyDeleteWe have TONS of change laying around, but some how it always ends up in our sons room. Ha. We save all of our change and then cash it in right before vacation or sometime over the summer and take a little trip:)
